When Disney came to my team at Nickelodeon Velocity asking for social content in support of Ralph Breaks the Internet, my team was still very new to the social game. Being on the pulse of all things social myself, I spearheaded concepting efforts that not only supported the movie, but also felt authentic to the Nickelodeon brand voice. After taking a deep dive into Nick social and researching what was performing well on each platform, I came up with the three concepts you see above. Disney was so pleased with the outcome of the campaign that they kept coming back, year after year, asking for more gamified, disruptive content that would surprise and delight social scrollers.
